I am on the ballot with eleven other volunteer candidates to serve on Spanish Fork High School's School Community Council for the next two years. There are three open positions on the council.
"School Community Councils (SCCs) in Utah are collaborative groups comprised of parents, school employees, and the principal, tasked with improving the school's academic performance and overall learning environment. They develop and oversee plans like the School Improvement Plan, School LAND Trust Plan, and others, ensuring they address the specific needs of the students and community. SCCs also play a crucial role in advising school and district administrators, and the school board, as well as communicating with parents about school matters."
